FVA Girls Basketball Preview
Norbert Durst
Norbert Durst serves as the WisSports.net Content Manager and Girls Basketball Writer, and a writer for other parts of the site. Durst has covered girls basketball since starting at WSN in 2012. The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) named Norbert the 2015 Media Person of the Year recipient. He is a member of the WBCA Executive Board and on the WBCA Hall of Fame committee. Durst is a graduate of Weston High School where he was a three-sport athlete, starting on the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Communications. Durst has coached girls basketball at the youth and high school levels. Norbert and his wife, Nikara, reside in Sun Prairie.
